Software Update 7.1.8

New Features:
Send balance reminder from job report page
-
We’ve added the ability to send balance payment reminder notification to your customers directly from the job report page, eliminating the need to leave the platform or manually chase outstanding payments external to the system.

The "Send Balance Reminder" button is available under payment history, to trigger the standardised payment notification email. It displays on jobs where a balance is outstanding; automatically hidden for paid or fully settled jobs and disables post-send to prevent duplicate reminders.

Software Update 7.1.6

New Features:
Itemised minimum usage fees breakdown on the Edit Cost screen
- We’ve updated the Edit Cost screen to give you complete visibility and control over your charges. Instead of displaying minimum usage fees as a single combined figure, charges are now split into individual, itemised line items—making it clear exactly what goes into every total. Individual charges can be deleted without altering other items—totals recalculate instantly and sync directly to customer-facing orders for complete accuracy.

New Fixes:
- The 3D Room Planner has been addressed on the below issues:
  • Resolved a false collision indicator where cabinets dropped against the right-hand wall displayed red lines despite any overlaps.
  • Corrected a rendering behavior where configuring a room to use advanced door caused only the first added product to display, ensuring Ensured subsequent added products maintain visual visibility and state
- Resolved an issue in the product editor where re-editing custom inner drawer cabinets displayed an unexpected error on the Drawers tab despite a valid configuration.
- Addressed an issue where setting Fixed Height on a drawer style silently reverted to Auto Height upon re-opening the drawer cabinets.
- Adjusted validation rules to ensure an error correctly displays when entering a width that exceeds the manufacturer-set maximum for shape panels.

Software Update 7.1.5

New Improvements:
- We’ve revamped the 'Materials' selection to refine the ordering experience for your customers. Browsing door styles and materials are now separate actions, and a new preview thumbnail gives immediate visual feedback on their selections. To organise the interface, search fields are now tucked behind a Quick Search button, giving users fast access when they need it, while keeping the main ordering process intuitive for every user.

Redesigned 'Material' tab with separate 'Door Style' and 'Material' action

- We've updated the payment notification emails when a customer nominates that they've made a payment to specify the exact payment choice selected by the customer (either deposit or full amount). Additionally added email alerts when a customer pays the remaining job balance.

  • Resolved room dimension validation errors to prevent unexpected layout resets and text overlaps, and ensuring the room planner remains responsive during normal operation and PDF generation.
  • Corrected product spawning positioning so new items land on a clean row without overlapping existing cabinets or crossing the wall boundaries and upper cabinets spawn at the intended top-left corner of the room.
  • Resolved snapping alignment issues between Base and Base Return products to ensure accurate locking.
  • Corrected total wall measurement calculations for rooms with overlapping upper and base cabinets so the display accurately reflects the occupied length.
- Resolved a rendering gap on the right side of L-shape cabinets 3D preview where internal components did not sit flush against the right side panel.
- Corrected duplicated and overlapping horizontal partitions on Pantry 2 Part cabinets within the Product Visualiser.

Software Update 7.1.2

New Features:
Popup Login Messages for New Customers
We've expanded the "Alert Customers on Login" functionality. Previously, login alerts could only be targeted at existing accounts. With this update, manufacturers can now display alert messages to display to all new customers. This provides a clear way to surface important information (tips, FAQs, factory information etc) so your customers see the very first time they log in to your portal.

On the settings page under 'News Updates', you will see new configuration options giving full control over your audience. You can now choose to display alerts to:
  • New Customers
  • Existing Customers
  • All Customers
News Updates page displaying drop down list for target audience and shown to users column in active messages

New Improvements:
- We've implemented a wireframe panel preview in the 3D Room Planner to improve the usability of panel detaching and snapping to the cabinets.
  • A wireframe panel preview appears the moment a user begins detaching a panel or moves it near an eligible snapping point. Its position is dynamically updated as the user drags, turning green when at a snappable point. Upon releasing the mouse, the actual UI panel snaps perfectly into the indicated spot.
  • Provides clear visual guidance, making workspace customisation smoother, more predictable, and frictionless.

Software Update 7.1.0

New Features:
We are thrilled to introduce Customer-Level Branding, a powerful new capability designed to give your customers control over their visual identity.

Your best trade customers design kitchens sitting across from their clients. Until now, doing that in the portal meant flashing someone else's (yours, the manufacturer) brand at the exact moment they needed to look like the expert...so they'd close the laptop and retreat to email.

Customer-Level Branding fixes that. PRO Customers can now wrap the platform in their own logo and colours, making it their design tool for their client-facing moments + also get the benefit of automatically using their logos on client-facing PDFs. They look like the pro, you stay in the background, and the job still lands in your factory when the customer has signed off on it.

Here is everything you need to know:

⚙️ Administrative Controls & Management
  • The "PRO Customer" Toggle: Manufacturers can now designate specific clients as premium accounts. A new PRO setting has been added directly to the Customer Edit form.
  • Bulk Updates & API Support: To fit effortlessly into your existing workflows, this setting can be modified at scale via CSV upload or through the API.
  • Enhanced Filtering: Quickly identify your premium accounts using the new PRO Customer filter added to the Customer List page.
🎨 The PRO Customer Experience
Once the "PRO Customer" setting is toggled on, your eligible customers will unlock exclusive configuration options:
  • Dedicated Setup Tab: Customers can access these features by navigating to Account Settings and selecting the brand-new PRO Settings tab.
  • Tailored Interface Customisation: From this dashboard, customers can modify their logos, colour schemes, and branding elements to match their business identity.
  • Instant Reset Functionality: If a customer ever needs to start fresh, a straightforward Reset to Default option is available. This instantly reverts the interface back to the standard manufacturer branding, maintaining platform consistency when needed.

  • Customised PDFs, ready for your customer to hand straight over to their clients for approval
    Customer-branded Job Details PDF
Update your customer records today to start offering a premium, white-labelled experience!

New Improvements:
-
While we were building the new PRO Customer branding setting, we updated the Branding Settings page for manufacturers, condensing and removing sections for old deprecated interface branding, while also giving dynamic examples so you have a clear idea on the colours selected and what part of the interface they apply to.
Enhanced the Jobman integration by enforcing unique customer names via email-linked identity to ensure records remain consistently identifiable across both systems. This change prevents duplicate or conflicting identities from occurring during synchronisation operations.

New Fixes:
-
Resolved an issue in the detailed cart view where side cart buttons became disabled after updating a product's dimensions, which prevented the product editor from opening.
- Corrected a spatial boundary issue in the 3D Room Planner where dragging a tall cabinet or pantry in the right depth section of an L-shaped room caused it to pass through the wall and dotted line boundaries.
- Addressed a visual display anomaly where certain wardrobe shelf units omitted their 3D model and updating the drawer configuration made them disappear.
- Rectified a rendering discrepancy so that applying a non-advanced outsourced door to a product accurately displays the selected non-advanced design in the 3D preview, rather than defaulting to a shaker style.
- Patched an isolated issue where pending payment email notifications were not being transmitted to customers.

Software Update 7.0.16

New Improvements:
- We've overhauled the 3D Room Planner PDF generation scaling logic to ensure plans, elevations and all room images render at a consistent, balanced scale regardless of room size or aspect ratio. This means smaller rooms now better utilise the available page space, allowing Customers and Manufacturers to view optimal image proportions on the page.

New Fixes:
- Corrected an issue in wardrobe shelf units where the toe kick height was incorrectly included in the measurement, ensuring the carcase height now displays as the total overall product height.
- Resolved 3D preview incorrectly rendering edging on the wrong side of the manual panel fingerpull rail(flat). The preview now accurately reflects the selected edging configuration. Software Update 7.0.14

New Feature:
- We've added a new Job Status Transitions API endpoint that allows manufacturers to programmatically manage job status transitions from a request coming from outside Cabinetry.Online. The endpoints support reliably moving jobs between statuses such as Pending Approval, Pending Payment, In Production, and Completed, while also allowing marking jobs as paid. This paves the way for tighter integrations with external apps and workflows.

New Improvements:
📲 Elevated Mobile navigation and UI for the 3D Room Planner.
We've completed a huge overhaul of the mobile & tablet interface and experience of the 3D Room Planner for customers, making it more accessible and usable from all devices - not just desktop. Changes include:
 - Replacing the global bottom navigation bar with a dedicated, landscape-adaptable room planner bottom bar that makes essential actions easily accessible.
- Implemented a new contextual bottom sheet slide out menu which appears when an item is tapped/selected. This change enhances mobile touch usability by replacing the floating/draggable toolbar (desktop) with a easily accessible panel showing item details and actions.
- Consolidated all the right-side floating action buttons (on desktop) to clean up the interface, relocating and integrating to just above the bottom toolbar.
- Moved the measurement reposition popup dialog from floating tiles and into the bottom bar settings to improve discoverability.

Re-engineered 3D Room Planner mobile UI

New Fixes:

The 3D Room Planner has received some functionality fixes which includes:
  • Corrected the door animation for some L-shaped products to ensure it operates smoothly and prevents users from initiating a new animation cycle before the current one finishes using open and close button.
  • Resolved an inconsistency in the History pane to ensure navigating between action steps accurately reverts or applies actions, particularly after utilising the delete function.
  • Updated wall measurements and dotted-line positions to ensure calculations are always referencing cabinet carcase instead of bounding boxes.
- Rectified a behaviour in the overview tab where clicking the arrows on the Benchtop quantity field incorrectly incremented the value by two instead of one.
- Fixed a problem where copying a job containing advanced sundries items with non-default attribute values caused the variation attributes to inadvertently reset to their default state.
- Addressed an issue on door cabinets where selecting a recessed handle option in the specs tab and navigating to the doors tab resulted in a blank screen, ensuring the door tab configuration now loads immediately.

Software Update 7.0.13

New Fixes:
- Resolved an issue where the standalone drawer‑face product (not part of a cabinet) added via Quick Add to Cart (QATC) were missing their drawer section in the Job Details PDF and also resolved a glitch where the reference image for the saved item would appear blank if the product was using an advanced door style.
- Rectified an issue where Jobman synchronisation paused when an organisation lacked a lead type named precisely "Flat Pack", by ensuring the system now automatically generates the missing lead type.
- Fixed an issue where products using Advanced Door style did not automatically recalculate face heights when the product height was changed in the Detailed Cart View via the Edit Sizes quick option.
- Resolved a bug where the standalone Inner Drawer component was preventing the user from selecting different drawer options.
- Fixed up a visual bug where the interface glitched and showed tables underneath when using the columns option popup on the materials list.
- Resolved an issue with legacy inner drawer products where the door drawer product name was omitted from the exported CSV file.
- Corrected a 2D Preview rendering issue where kickboard products edging was displayed on the incorrect side.
- Updated the calculation of conditional hardware amounts to ensure quantities now update dynamically based on hitting conditional width thresholds.

Software Update 7.0.9

New Features:
🚀Introducing Customisable Inner Drawer Cabinets

We’ve introduced a new generation of Inner Drawer Base Cabinets that now provides flexibility and control to the configurations. Previously, inner drawers consisted of fixed-configuration where Customers were unable to specify the sizes of the drawer runners that they want to use, nor the positioning of the inner drawer which limited design options to avoid causing hinge‑drawer conflicts.

The new products introduce a fully rule‑driven, intelligent configuration system which can be done from within the product itself. Each product features a fixed vertical partition on the hinged side. This allows customers to freely position inner drawers without any risk of hinge interference.

These 3 flexible new products are available via Base > Inner Drawers once enabled for the customer.

1. Base - Left Door - Inner Drawers
2. Base - Right Door - Inner Drawers
3. Base - 2 Doors - Inner Drawers
New Inner Drawers Base Cabinets

🆕 What’s New
Rather than selecting from over 27 different fixed configuration inner drawer base cabinets, customers can now configure inner drawers directly within the product itself. This includes:
  • Customisable inner drawer positions and quantities where customers can now specify precisely where each drawer should be located within the cabinet.
  • Hinge‑safe vertical positioning of a new vertical partition ensures drawers can be positioned where required while also avoiding hinge clashes.
  • Automatic recalculation of drawer sizes and spacings when quantities of inner drawers are adjusted.
  • Built‑in system validations prevent invalid placements, overlapping drawers, or configurations that violate cabinet constraints.

🆗 Enabling Custom Inner Drawer Cabinets

The new custom inner drawer base products can be made visible to your customers from:
  • Navigate to Tools > Settings > Products
  • Locate the category Inner Drawers > Enable toggle
Inner Drawers category on Manufacturer Product page

Stay tuned for the next roll out of custom inner drawer product type to Pantry inner drawer options soon.

New Improvements:
- We’ve improved the Manufacturer job dashboard to make key information easier to understand at a glance. Each job status table now displays the total number of jobs and the total $ value for that status. The total value reflects the inclusive‑tax amount of all orders in that category.

Additionally, the “Show Last” filter has been removed from all job status tables except “Job Completed,” where it continues to function as before.
Pending Payment job status table on Manufacturer dashboard

- Launched automated password registration reminders to encourage new customers to complete their account setup. You can manage these branded notifications, which trigger at one and seven-day intervals, via a new toggle in Tools > Settings >Preferences

New Fixes:
- Corrected a visual discrepancy isolated to Tall Blind Corner cabinet where shape shelves were rendered on the incorrect side of the unit.
- Resolved a refresh issue on the Manufacturer Products page to ensure updating a product name or defaults updates the individual card without reloading the entire interface and long product names wrap or truncate correctly without distorting layout containers or product images across all UI locations.
- Adjusted the drawer configuration logic so that the joining border width now automatically populates in synchronisation with the top border width.

Software Update 7.0.8

New Improvements:
- We’ve refined drawer face settings on cabinets with advanced drawer faces and in the process, the joining‑border edging option has been deprecated. Now rather than including unnecessary additional fields, default values are applied. The Joining Borders toggle in Panel Edging Design is now removed when using an advanced door on drawer cabinets, and the Joining Border Width control in Border Widths, while still visible, is no longer editable on drawer cabinets and defaults to the top-border width.
- Available payment methods for specific customers now display on the Customer report page.

New Fixes:
- Resolved a visual model misalignment issue where applying left or right margins on drawer products using advanced shaker doors caused drawers to shift toward the centre of the cabinet.
- Corrected a validation error for Stripe enabled Manufacturer, where manually adding a payment in the payment history panel on job report page exceeding the invoice total displayed an error without explanation. The system now displays a clear, user-friendly message.
- Addressed a display error where mid-rail validation messages appeared for door styles that do not utilise mid-rails.
- Rectified a filtering issue on the Materials page where selecting the "All" filter failed to clear previously applied search results.
- Applied a fix to ensure Drawer face height recalculation occurs when the cabinet height is reverted to its original value from the detailed cart view.
- The 3D preview and Job Details PDF now handle concurrent edits and cache‑queue operations more robustly. Customers no longer encounter endless loading or 3D preview errors in the detailed cart view.

Software Update 7.0.7

New Fixes:
- Resolved a caching issue affecting products initially added via Quick Add to Cart (QATC). Updated settings now display correctly without requiring a page refresh, and the Edit and Copy buttons in the side cart remain enabled as expected and do not display stale data.
- Resolved a graphical issue where adjustable leg models would be removed when the height was set below 200mm.
- The 3D Room Planner has received a set of stability and reliability fixes:
  • Resolved an intermittent error that occurred during extended sessions. The user interface now remains stable and error-free ensuring reliability and rendering performance.
  • Corrected the display of bin products using non-advanced doors showing an incorrect wall gap even when the cabinet was flush against the wall.
  • Fixed a minor visual display change where the dotted lines shown when a product is selected was out of alignment when the door animation occurred.
  • Improved the rendering of upper open units to ensure the shelf radius is appropriately displayed.
  • Updated wall and floor measurements to ensure greater accuracy following the addition, movement, or deletion of cabinets.

Software Update 7.0.6

New Improvements:
- We've re-engineered and moved the Product Info panel in the 3D Room Planner to enhance workspace clarity and space efficiency. It no longer hovers under the floating toolbar or obstructs design interactions, now matching the styling of the left hand menu. Key product details appear instantly on the left when an item is selected, while full product information loads when edit button is clicked for a faster, smoother editing experience.
Product Info panel moved to the left side providing space efficiency

- The AI chatbot has been redesigned and repositioned to the header with a "Need help?" label improving accessibility and navigation while ensuring it no longer interferes with key interface components.
AI Chatbot relocated in the header as Need help?

New Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where newly created Manufacturer account was displaying incorrect error message to the Customer after doors were deleted. Error handling has been corrected, and the system now provides clear, user‑friendly validation messages when a door style is unavailable or hidden.
-
A set of bug fixes and improvements have been completed in the 3D Room Planner:
  • Resolved an issue with the duplication of upper cabinets when positioned on the left wall caused the duplicate to appear in the middle of the room instead of next to the original cabinet.
  • Corrected an inconsistency where repositioned, rotated, or duplicated products would cause them to overlap other items or pass through room boundaries.
  • Rectified a display error where drawer face product would not appear in the room and resulted in an infinite loading spinner and unknown error.
  • Fixed a visual glitch where the side cart items counter did not update automatically (required a page refresh) after adding panels and fillers via the cabinet + side buttons. This did not affect items in the cart or pricing, just the total product counter.

Software Update 7.0.5

New Fixes:
- Corrected an intermittent issue where disabling adjustable legs on cabinets would occasionally not update preview images in the product editor, job dashboard, and job details PDF.
- Rectified the display sequence of help videos and keyboard shortcuts for first-time 3D Room Planner users to prevent overlapping UI elements.
- Adjusted the scaling logic on images in the job details PDF to ensure product images with large dimensions remain fully visible and within page boundaries.
- Fixed a visibility issue in the 3D Room Planner where a cabinet's side + buttons and cabinet distances disappeared after cancelling edit room mode or using customised room sizes.
- Resolved a synchronisation issue where product name changes were not being reflected within the 3D Room Planner.
- Addressed a layout inconsistency on the Manufacturer dashboard for small screens, where admin updates text would overflow the designated UI containers.

Software Update 7.0.3

New Improvements:
- We’ve completed a huge overhaul and upgrade of panel‑to‑cabinet snapping logic, enhancing the customer designing and ordering experience. Placement of panels is now more accurate and intuitive in the 3D Room Planner, and includes updates to the following logic:
  • Panels now snap to the nearest corner (top‑left, top‑right, bottom‑left, bottom‑right) based on drag position.
  • Floor clamping automatically activates when a panel extends downward, preventing overlap or incorrect placement.
  • Snapping works reliably regardless of panel rotation.
  • Either face of a panel can snap to the cabinet.
  • Back‑edge snapping is now consistent for improved rear alignment.
  • Snapping behaviour is unified across side and back applications for predictable, repeatable results.
New panel snapping improvements

- We've also optimised the customer registration process so that users are now automatically logged in after password creation. All security checks remain in place, reducing friction while keeping existing login and reset flows unchanged.

New Fixes:
- Resolved a rendering issue in the 3D Room Planner that occurred after opening and closing the 3D preview multiple times.
- Adjusted the animation for base blind corner fold kit products in the 3D preview to correctly reflect a drawer pull-out motion rather than a hinged door.
- Rectified an alignment issue in the product visualiser to ensure upper lift system products are auto-positioned in the middle of the canvas to remain fully visible.

Software Update 7.0.0 - A major step forward for payments in Cabinetry.Online

💳 Deposits and card payments now built-in!
We're excited to introduce flexible payments directly into the Cabinetry.Online ordering experience. You can now configure deposit rules for jobs, accept credit and debit card payments using Stripe, and give customers a smoother path from order submission to payment, while still ensuring all jobs continue to follow an approval workflow before production. Alongside these capabilities, the release also introduces clearer payment visibility and smarter workflows for jobs that require review before payment (when a cost may need to be changed for a variation request or freight).

Key Highlights

  • Deposit Rules by Job Value allow Manufacturers to specify how much must be paid upfront when orders are placed.
  • Stripe Card Payments allow Customers to securely pay for orders online using credit or debit cards.
Why Stripe? Cabinetry.Online integrates with Stripe, one of the world’s most trusted payment platforms, used by millions of businesses including Shopify, Amazon, Google and more. This integration allows manufacturers to offer a fast, familiar card payment experience while Stripe handles the secure processing of transactions.

Software Update 6.17.3

New Feature:
- We’ve added a new Job Management API endpoint that allows manufacturers to update a job’s expected completion date, from a request coming from outside Cabinetry.Online. When an update is made, the API can also optionally trigger an email notification to the customer with or without additional text outlining a reason for the change. This makes it easier to keep customers informed when timelines shift due to production, supply, or scheduling changes, even when those updates originate outside of Cabinetry.Online.

New Improvements:
- We’ve rolled out further enhancements to the 3D Room Planner, delivering richer functionality which includes:
  • Products remain selected (highlighted in blue) after dragging & dropping, panning, orbiting or rotating. This allows customers to quickly interact with the product again without having to click to re-select, saving clicks & time while making the overall experience smoother.
  • 3D Room Planner PDFs now deliver sharper and higher-resolution visuals, closely matching the 3D Room scenes.
Top Left View - 3D Room Planner PDF

  • Reposition arrows now remain visible and do not hide behind the walls or overlap the adjacent cabinets.
All Reposition arrows are visible for improved navigation
  • Kick lengths now snap cleanly to cabinet bases, and applied panels attach accurately to base, tall, and pantry cabinets, avoiding any floating issues.
  • Component panels now display the correct size labels on the wall, ensuring accurate representation.
  • The position of a tall applied panel remains stable now when added to a tall product using the + button, and there is no unexpected movement when no manual adjustments are made.

New Fixes:
- Resolved the overlapping of the pencil icon and measurement label on benchtops when an edge profile is applied, ensuring the icon remains clearly visible and easy to select.
- We've fixed a scenario where the additional top clearance for drawer runners, used when a finger recess options is selected by a customer, would sometimes not validate correctly.
- Fixed benchtops caching customer specific markups on an order so that any changes and price resets will reflect the current customer price adjustment value.

Software Update 6.17.0

Welcome to 2026! We've got a big release of great new features, improvements and fixes to kick off the year. We're looking forward to delivering some huge new changes to the platform this year.

New Feature:
- We've added a new collapsible pop-out Product Overview panel underneath the product toolbar in the 3D Room Planner, mirroring the new product cards on the detailed cart view (job dashboard).

The new Product Overview panel

The new Product Overview panel gives the user a quick snapshot of important product information:
  • Room-Item Number
  • Product name
  • Sizes
  • Price (per unit)
  • Door / Material / Carcase selection
  • Icons representing product composition (flatpack/assembled, hardware yes/no and adjustable legs)
This new Product Overview loads instantaneously so the user can quickly see top level product information without having to load up the full product editor in the menu on the left.

New Improvements:
- We've implemented some logic to retain cabinet positions on walls when a room's width is adjusted. This automatic repositioning helps maintain the intended room layout without gaps.

Cabinet position retention during room resizing

- We've updated the logic of toolbar positioning. Now, instead of reloading and re-positioning the toolbar over the cabinet selected, if the user has specifically dragged the toolbar to another location, that location will persist and not change on subsequent selection of different items in the room. This change will dramatically improve usability and stop the toolbar jumping around screen on changing between items.
- Additionally, both the toolbar and the Product Overview panel now intelligently reposition themselves to stay fully on‑screen, even when working near the edges of design.
- We've added a new set of product validations for items with doors, whereby the height of the carcase, as well as the height & width of the door/s will be checked to ensure sufficient space exists to fit the hinges.
- We've optimised the dragging of products in the 3D Room Planner. This has reduced lag and ensures smooth movement, keeping essential positioning indicators visible while minimising measurement recalculations to improve performance.

New Fixes:
- A round of small fixes has been applied to the top-left view in the 3D Room Planner preview and downloaded PDFs. It no longer displays obstructive walls, and cabinet heights now correctly sum to the total wall height.
- Wall Oven drawer products configurations in the 3D product preview now render accurately according to specified dimensions, resolving visual issues of overlapping drawer faces
- The 3D product preview for Open Upper Left/Right Clip products now accurately reflects manufacturing standards. Clips remain consistently at a 45-degree angle, improving visual reliability.
- Drawers that previously extended beyond doors when a product used an advance door, now renders correctly, aligning fully flush.
- In the detailed cart view, the cursor now changes from a grab hand to a pointer when hovering over the size editing buttons, enhancing usability and clarity.
- The U-Shape Shelf now renders correctly in the product editor, shows up in the Job Dashboard, and no longer interferes with other products in the 3D Room Planner.
- In material pricing screen, when only a material's horizontal grain surcharge has been modified, it now consistently shows a change through the visual highlight in blue, with reset-to-default and show-default icons also being present.

Software Update 6.16.5

New Fixes:
- Applied a fix to the new editing feature on the detailed cart, to ensure horizontally split door products correctly trigger validation errors if the updated width of the product exceeds the material's maximum sheet size with vertical grain.
- Implemented a patch to ensure that any changes to a product’s height via the quick size edit in the detailed cart now also adjusts the hinge count automatically based on the manufacturer's defined hinge quantity rules.

Software Update 6.16.4

New Improvements:
- We've enhanced cost visibility in Customer dashboard and job list for processing jobs to provide clearer, more consistent cost information reducing confusion by distinguishing between preliminary vs. final costs.

  • Customers with enabled "Job Confirmation page before submission", the quoted jobs table on the Customer dashboard now include Preliminary Cost (incl. Tax) heading and job list displays the Preliminary Cost (incl. Tax) with an asterisk(*) to the job cost. After submission, the list updates to show the final cost, which includes any final job fees like minimum order, minimum usage & freight.
  • Customers with the setting disabled, the job list continues to display total costs as per the existing behaviour, with no changes introduced by this feature.

Job List displaying Preliminary Costs for processing jobs

- We’ve upgraded 3D Room Planner PDF's Left and Right Elevation views for a clearer, more precise presentation. Both elevation views now show the below details when products are snapped to the respective walls, and is omitted if no products are present.

 Details include:
  • Kick Height
  • Base Cabinet Height
  • Distance between base cabinets and upper cabinets
  • Upper cabinet height
  • Distance to ceiling height
  • + Overall Tall product height

Upgraded Left Elevation view - 3D Room Planner PDF

New Fixes:
- Resolved a visual glitch where the popup that shows when adding or editing a Customer's labels on the Customer List page was partially cut off when the table included only a few results.
- Fixed the selection indicator rendering on MacBook using Safari for the "Hardware Selections". It now appears correctly inside the square selection box in front of the supply hardware methods .
- We've updated the validations that are applied to horizontally split doors to ensure vertical grained materials don't exceed the material width and ensure compliance with material limitations.

Software Update 6.16.3

New Features:
🚀  The 3D Room Planner just got upgraded with some new features!

1️⃣ We've added a new ➕ button on the sides of applicable products, allowing users to quickly add a filler or applied panel on the side - meaning this process now no longer requires multiple manual steps. When the product already has another snapped to it, the button will not show, and the applied panel and filler options show automatically based on the category (Base/Tall/Upper/Pantry) of the product.

Quick Add Panels & Fillers option

Additionally, the height and depth of the product are inherited automatically, and snapping occurs immediately - significantly reducing errors caused by manual sizing or misalignment.

2️⃣We've also added a new set of dimension arrows which provide a handy guide on how far a product is from other products near to it.
New dimensions showing how close an item is to an adjacent item.

Here's a full look at the new features in action 👇

The new Quick Add Panels & Fillers feature + auto dimensions to indicate gap sizes between products

New Improvements:
- We've restructured each product's "Specs" section.  Previously, all fields including carcase dimensions (QTY, Height, Width, Depth) and configuration options (top type, recessed handle, oven openings, rangehood specs) were shown in a single ungrouped list.

NOW - Fields are organised under visual headings for clarity. This change makes it easier to distinguish carcase dimensions from configuration options, and also reduces confusion for new users, allowing them to know right away that sizes entered are relevant to the carcase dimensions.

New headings to clarify product sizes

- The 3D Room Planner PDF's front elevation view has been enhanced for better clarity, offering a clearer presentation with improved dimension readings. It now displays the following:
  1. Kick Height
  2. Base Cabinet Height
  3. Distance between base cabinets and upper cabinets
  4. Upper cabinet height
  5. Distance to ceiling height
  6. + Overall Tall product height

    New Fixes:
    - Resolved an issue where products with restricted hardware were inadvertently updated when room defaults were force applied. This behaviour has now been corrected.
    - An error was identified and corrected where, on the manufacturer settings, editing a benchtop join type and updating the cost field was not persisting the changes.
    - Fingerpull style images now save correctly and appear in the Manufacturer preview, ensuring the right image is displayed when selecting a fingerpull style.
    - Fixed an error in Customer account settings that occurred when the materials defaults were still loading, and the edging search box was clicked.

Software Update 6.15.14

New Features:

⌨️ Introducing Keyboard Shortcuts in 3D Room Planner

We’ve added keyboard shortcuts to 3DRP to help your clients create their design even faster and easier. This change will:
  • Speed up the layout process.
  • Reduce extra clicks.
  • Allow users to nudge items using keyboard arrows instead of relying on‑screen controls.
To help guide users, we've updated the instructional help videos with a new quick overview video on keyboard shortcuts (👀watch it here: ▶️ https://youtu.be/T3rThVPDpos) and information about what shortcuts can be used can be found by clicking the ⌨️ icon at the bottom right corner  of the screen.

Instructional help videos now include 'Keyboard Shortcuts' video

Clicking on the keyboard icon in 3D Room Planner displays the available keyboard shortcuts

New Improvements:

🆕 Easier Duplicate Benchtop Ordering
We’ve added two new improvements to make it simpler to add in multiples of the same (or similar) Benchtops: a new Copy button and Quantity field - this now ensures Benchtops mirror the same functionality as cabinets and panels.

  • Copy Benchtop - Quickly duplicate an existing benchtop. The copy is identical to the original, and can be edited just like any other benchtop.
  • Quantity Field - Instead of adding the same benchtop one by one, the quantity can now be set directly. Just enter how many are needed, and they’ll all be added to the order automatically.

Quantity and Copy in the detailed cart for benchtops

- In 3D Room Planner manual panels are now positioned horizontally by default. In future, we'll be giving functionality to panels to be flipped between different axis.

New Fixes:
- Resolved a small issue on deleting shelves from an item where selecting ‘No’ to auto-position remaining shelves is now correctly removing the selected shelf and retaining the existing positions of the existing ones.

Software Update 6.15.13

New Improvements:
- We've refined 3D Room Planner with further usability updates which includes:
  • Duplicating cabinets is now more intuitive. When a cabinet is duplicated, it will retain its vertical placement and inherit the rotation of the original. This ensures consistent positioning, saving time on adjustments.
  • We've made product elevation labels more useful. Now you can quickly adjust a product's vertical distance from the floor by clicking on the elevation label, which expands on hover to indicate clickability. The user will then be prompted with the same 'distance from' dialog as used for other axis movements via the Reposition tool.
Modifying a product's distance from floor
  • We've also moved the height and elevation labels from being positioned at the edge of the room, right beside the product. This ensures better visibility of sizing and has allowed us to eliminate the other height label which previously floated over the cabinet, making it easier to read and interpret measurements.

New Fixes:
- Resolved an issue where the 3D preview of Wineracks was not displaying when both horizontal and vertical partitions were set to zero.

You can now fully customise invoice due date terms for the Xero Integration Settings in individual Customer profiles simply by editing.  In addition to “Days after invoice date,” the following options are now supported:
  • Of the following month
  • Of the current month
  • Day(s) after the invoice month
Customise invoice due date through edit Customer

- The 3D Room Planner has been upgraded:
  • The kicker products have improved snapping logic. They now snap side-to-side and back-to-back when placed under cabinets. Overlaps trigger a red indicator, and items inside kickers retain their snapping and movement capabilities, while frames no longer snap beneath products without a bottom.
  • Bulkhead and kicker now also keep the exact width and depth entered, and the scene dimensions match those inputs for a more reliable design experience.

New Fixes:
- Updated the benchtop specifier so that it will automatically apply the next available permissible edge profile when the first choice is unavailable due to restrictions.
- Addressed a situation where vinyl materials required a corresponding vinyl door style before the product could be saved. The system now verifies this automatically to ensure consistency.
- Edge material fields for kicker framed products are now hidden, and any related validation messages no longer appear when saving, as these products don’t require edge materials.

  • We’ve enhanced cabinet snapping function, cabinets now align more reliably to neighbors without overlapping and are guided to stay within wall boundaries, helping layouts come together faster and with greater accuracy.
  • Upper wall products now retain their rotated position and original placement after refreshing the page or returning to the planner.

New Fixes:
- To prevent integration errors with Xero, Chart of Accounts fields for Customer invoice and bill are now restricted to numerical input only. This ensures consistent mapping and avoids issues caused by text-based entries.
- The product inclusions now correctly reference the selected hardware series, resolving incorrect or missing hardware listings.

Software Update 6.15.4

New Improvements:
- We’ve added the flexibility to configure Benchtop material Price Category, making the system more flexible and tailored to your needs.
This includes:
  • You can now modify the Price Category field when editing Benchtop material, allowing greater control over pricing structures.
  • You can set custom Price Categories unique to your account, with an additional option of 'New' in the dropdown to create a new one.
Editable Price Category field for customising and creating new one

  • The mass cost editing tool can be used to efficiently apply changes across multiple items by setting brand, finish and selecting a price category.
Bulk update Price Categories using Mass Cost Editing

  • Admin-set price categories still remain selectable and provide a default baseline across the platform.

- We’ve improved the login experience to ensure a smooth redirection to the page intended to visit. Previously, users accessing deep links via email or visiting pages like job report page as Manufacturer, using 3D Room Planner as Customer were redirected to the login page and had to manually search for the content again after logging in.
With this update -
  • The original URL is now preserved and passed to the login page, allowing users to return directly to their intended destination after authentication.
  • If the user does not have access to the requested page, they will be redirected to their dashboard instead.
  • Standard login flows, such as visiting the login page or homepage directly, will continue to redirect users to their dashboard after login.

- A series of enhancements has been implemented to strengthen performance of the 3D Room Planner.
  • We’ve ensured when a product has a long name, the header in the product editor no longer overlaps the tabs, so navigation stays clear.
  • A product's elevation from the floor is now consistent and renders correctly regardless of floor distance; very low values no longer affect its appearance.
  • When using Reposition from floating toolbar, selecting another product will now close the Reposition function on the previously selected item.
  • We've added support for pressing the Enter key in the “Distance from the Wall” measurement field to apply the change.
  • We’ve improved cabinet alignment behaviours so bulkhead components now snap cleanly to the top of upper cabinets, and base cabinets align correctly with the blind panel of return cabinets.

Software Update 6.15.3

New Fixes:
- The 3D Room Planner has been leveled up with more refinements:
  • Updated placement of open products to better snap to walls.
  • Resolved a visual glitch where changes applied to the exterior colour of Base Bin with inner drawer products were sometimes not correctly reflecting on the door.
  • Products added with quantity greater than one, when re-edited retains the saved colour and does not revert to previous. This previous visual glitch was rectified through page refresh.
  • Corrected a bug where L‑shaped products would be dropped into the room at an elevation causing it to be below floor height.

- We've implemented a further round of validations for material size restrictions when products are force updated via the Change Room Settings function, ensuring that appropriate validation messages are displayed where a product can't be updated if it is too big or too small for the selected material.

🚀 New Integration Launch: Cabinetry.Online > Jobman Now Available!

We’re excited to announce the first phase of the BETA opt-in preview launch of our integration with Jobman - the versatile ERP system built for the manufacturing industry.

This integration brings together the best of both platforms, empowering you to run your cabinetry business with unmatched efficiency and precision.

What does the integration support?

Cabinetry.Online & Jobman Integration data flow

With this integration, you can now:
  • Automatically create a contact in your Jobman profile, when you get a new customer signup in Cabinetry.Online.
  • Automatic Job Sync - Every job created or submitted from your Customer in Cabinetry.Online will be synced to Jobman, linked to the appropriate contact.
  • View Synced Data - The job report page in Cabinetry.Online now displays direct links to the Jobman Lead and Quote for each synced job through a Jobman Details table which redirects to Jobman.
  • Sync Orders & Projects: Effortlessly transfer orders and project details from Cabinetry.Online directly into Jobman for centralised management.
  • Boost Efficiency with Automation: The integration eliminates manual data entry, automates quoting, and empowers you to utilise Jobman's tools for job scheduling - reducing errors and saving valuable time.

📅 Ready to Get Started?
At this stage while we're in beta, access to the integration is by application only. Pop through an email to our support team on support@cabinetry.online if you'd like to be involved and one of our members will reach out to help you get it configured.
