Welcome to 2026! We've got a big release of great new features, improvements and fixes to kick off the year. We're looking forward to delivering some huge new changes to the platform this year.
New Feature: - We've added a new collapsible pop-out Product Overview panel underneath the product toolbar in the 3D Room Planner, mirroring the new product cards on the detailed cart view (job dashboard).
The new Product Overview panel gives the user a quick snapshot of important product information:
Room-Item Number
Product name
Sizes
Price (per unit)
Door / Material / Carcase selection
Icons representing product composition (flatpack/assembled, hardware yes/no and adjustable legs)
This new Product Overview loads instantaneously so the user can quickly see top level product information without having to load up the full product editor in the menu on the left.
New Improvements: - We've implemented some logic to retain cabinet positions on walls when a room's width is adjusted. This automatic repositioning helps maintain the intended room layout without gaps.
Cabinet position retention during room resizing - We've updated the logic of toolbar positioning. Now, instead of reloading and re-positioning the toolbar over the cabinet selected, if the user has specifically dragged the toolbar to another location, that location will persist and not change on subsequent selection of different items in the room. This change will dramatically improve usability and stop the toolbar jumping around screen on changing between items. - Additionally, both the toolbar and the Product Overview panel now intelligently reposition themselves to stay fully on‑screen, even when working near the edges of design.
- We've added a new set of product validations for items with doors, whereby the height of the carcase, as well as the height & width of the door/s will be checked to ensure sufficient space exists to fit the hinges. - We've optimised the dragging of products in the 3D Room Planner. This has reduced lag and ensures smooth movement, keeping essential positioning indicators visible while minimising measurement recalculations to improve performance.
New Fixes: - A round of small fixes has been applied to the top-left view in the 3D Room Planner preview and downloaded PDFs. It no longer displays obstructive walls, and cabinet heights now correctly sum to the total wall height. - Wall Oven drawer products configurations in the 3D product preview now render accurately according to specified dimensions, resolving visual issues of overlapping drawer faces - The 3D product preview for Open Upper Left/Right Clip products now accurately reflects manufacturing standards. Clips remain consistently at a 45-degree angle, improving visual reliability. - Drawers that previously extended beyond doors when a product used an advance door, now renders correctly, aligning fully flush. - In the detailed cart view, the cursor now changes from a grab hand to a pointer when hovering over the size editing buttons, enhancing usability and clarity. - The U-Shape Shelf now renders correctly in the product editor, shows up in the Job Dashboard, and no longer interferes with other products in the 3D Room Planner. - In material pricing screen, when only a material's horizontal grain surcharge has been modified, it now consistently shows a change through the visual highlight in blue, with reset-to-default and show-default icons also being present.
New Fixes: - Applied a fix to the new editing feature on the detailed cart, to ensure horizontally split door products correctly trigger validation errors if the updated width of the product exceeds the material's maximum sheet size with vertical grain. - Implemented a patch to ensure that any changes to a product’s height via the quick size edit in the detailed cart now also adjusts the hinge count automatically based on the manufacturer's defined hinge quantity rules.
New Improvements: - We've enhanced cost visibility in Customer dashboard and job list for processing jobs to provide clearer, more consistent cost information reducing confusion by distinguishing between preliminary vs. final costs.
Customers with enabled "Job Confirmation page before submission", the quoted jobs table on the Customer dashboard now include Preliminary Cost (incl. Tax) heading and job list displays the Preliminary Cost (incl. Tax) with an asterisk(*) to the job cost. After submission, the list updates to show the final cost, which includes any final job fees like minimum order, minimum usage & freight.
Customers with the setting disabled, the job list continues to display total costs as per the existing behaviour, with no changes introduced by this feature.

- We’ve upgraded 3D Room Planner PDF's Left and Right Elevation views for a clearer, more precise presentation. Both elevation views now show the below details when products are snapped to the respective walls, and is omitted if no products are present.
Details include:
Kick Height
Base Cabinet Height
Distance between base cabinets and upper cabinets
Upper cabinet height
Distance to ceiling height
+ Overall Tall product height

New Fixes: - Resolved a visual glitch where the popup that shows when adding or editing a Customer's labels on the Customer List page was partially cut off when the table included only a few results. - Fixed the selection indicator rendering on MacBook using Safari for the "Hardware Selections". It now appears correctly inside the square selection box in front of the supply hardware methods . - We've updated the validations that are applied to horizontally split doors to ensure vertical grained materials don't exceed the material width and ensure compliance with material limitations.
New Features: 🚀 The 3D Room Planner just got upgraded with some new features!
1️⃣ We've added a new ➕ button on the sides of applicable products, allowing users to quickly add a filler or applied panel on the side - meaning this process now no longer requires multiple manual steps. When the product already has another snapped to it, the button will not show, and the applied panel and filler options show automatically based on the category (Base/Tall/Upper/Pantry) of the product. Quick Add Panels & Fillers option
Additionally, the height and depth of the product are inherited automatically, and snapping occurs immediately - significantly reducing errors caused by manual sizing or misalignment.
New Improvements: - We've restructured each product's "Specs" section. Previously, all fields including carcase dimensions (QTY, Height, Width, Depth) and configuration options (top type, recessed handle, oven openings, rangehood specs) were shown in a single ungrouped list.
NOW - Fields are organised under visual headings for clarity. This change makes it easier to distinguish carcase dimensions from configuration options, and also reduces confusion for new users, allowing them to know right away that sizes entered are relevant to the carcase dimensions.
- The 3D Room Planner PDF's front elevation view has been enhanced for better clarity, offering a clearer presentation with improved dimension readings. It now displays the following:
Kick Height
Base Cabinet Height
Distance between base cabinets and upper cabinets
Upper cabinet height
Distance to ceiling height
+ Overall Tall product height Improved Front Elevation view - 3D Room Planner PDF
New Fixes: - Resolved an issue where products with restricted hardware were inadvertently updated when room defaults were force applied. This behaviour has now been corrected. - An error was identified and corrected where, on the manufacturer settings, editing a benchtop join type and updating the cost field was not persisting the changes. - Fingerpull style images now save correctly and appear in the Manufacturer preview, ensuring the right image is displayed when selecting a fingerpull style. - Fixed an error in Customer account settings that occurred when the materials defaults were still loading, and the edging search box was clicked.
🚀 Upgraded Detailed Cart: A More Visual & Customisable Cart Experience
We’ve upgraded the Job Dashboard / Detailed Cart View for customers to make ordering clearer, more intuitive and make it super easy to make little tweaks to product sizes.
Visual Colour Swatches – We've moved away from text-heavy listings to more visual colour swatches, making product choices clearer and more engaging.
Branded Supply Icons – We've added handy icons to quickly represent supply options (assembly/flatpack, hardware supplied/drill only, adjustable legs on/off)
Dimension Editing – Product dimensions are now editable right from the cart, with built‑in validation and error handling for accuracy.
Editable Variations – Customers can expand, view, and edit product variations directly in the cart.
- The 3D Room Planner PDF's plan view has been improved, offering a clearer presentation with enhanced dimension readings.

New Fixes: - The Customer user interface on mobile devices has been refined ensuring columns and images are evenly spaced. - When copying a product, the interface now clearly displays a header labelled “Copy Product” to distinguish it from editing actions, making the process more intuitive. - To ensure global consistencies when materials are edited, we’ve streamlined and removed Customer-specific editability for minimum usage and visibility controls, such as checkboxes, hide/show buttons. When switching back to "All Customers," all previously hidden controls reappear and are fully functional.
⌨️ Introducing Keyboard Shortcuts in 3D Room Planner
We’ve added keyboard shortcuts to 3DRP to help your clients create their design even faster and easier. This change will:
Speed up the layout process.
Reduce extra clicks.
Allow users to nudge items using keyboard arrows instead of relying on‑screen controls.
To help guide users, we've updated the instructional help videos with a new quick overview video on keyboard shortcuts (👀watch it here: ▶️ https://youtu.be/T3rThVPDpos) and information about what shortcuts can be used can be found by clicking the ⌨️ icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Clicking on the keyboard icon in 3D Room Planner displays the available keyboard shortcuts
New Improvements:
🆕 Easier Duplicate Benchtop Ordering We’ve added two new improvements to make it simpler to add in multiples of the same (or similar) Benchtops: a new Copy button and Quantity field - this now ensures Benchtops mirror the same functionality as cabinets and panels.
Copy Benchtop - Quickly duplicate an existing benchtop. The copy is identical to the original, and can be edited just like any other benchtop.
Quantity Field - Instead of adding the same benchtop one by one, the quantity can now be set directly. Just enter how many are needed, and they’ll all be added to the order automatically.
- In 3D Room Planner manual panels are now positioned horizontally by default. In future, we'll be giving functionality to panels to be flipped between different axis.
New Fixes: - Resolved a small issue on deleting shelves from an item where selecting ‘No’ to auto-position remaining shelves is now correctly removing the selected shelf and retaining the existing positions of the existing ones.
New Improvements: - We've refined 3D Room Planner with further usability updates which includes:
Duplicating cabinets is now more intuitive. When a cabinet is duplicated, it will retain its vertical placement and inherit the rotation of the original. This ensures consistent positioning, saving time on adjustments.
We've made product elevation labels more useful. Now you can quickly adjust a product's vertical distance from the floor by clicking on the elevation label, which expands on hover to indicate clickability. The user will then be prompted with the same 'distance from' dialog as used for other axis movements via the Reposition tool. Modifying a product's distance from floor
We've also moved the height and elevation labels from being positioned at the edge of the room, right beside the product. This ensures better visibility of sizing and has allowed us to eliminate the other height label which previously floated over the cabinet, making it easier to read and interpret measurements.
New Fixes: - Resolved an issue where the 3D preview of Wineracks was not displaying when both horizontal and vertical partitions were set to zero.
🚀 🆕 Introducing Shaker Door Styles Now in 3D Product Visualiser & 3D Room Planner
The first version of shaker-style doors are now visually represented in 3D Product Visualiser & 3D Room Planner when an advance door is selected. This release supports simple rectangular, bevelled inset profiles which includes:
Realistic shaker door profiles.
Display of custom border widths and mid-rail configurations (horizontal/vertical).
Cut out options for glass displayed as configured.
Wireframe mode support for profile alignment checks.
New Improvements: - We’ve added 3D Product Visualiser template for Inner Drawer Components, compatible with generating preview, PDFs and accessible via QR code once generated.
Inner Drawer Components (no hardware supply) model
New Fixes: - Adjusting settings in a room now correctly updates only the correctly designated products.
New Improvements: - We’ve added more flexibility to the invoice management for users who have hooked up with Xero. You can now fully customise invoice due date terms for the Xero Integration Settings in individual Customer profiles simply by editing. In addition to “Days after invoice date,” the following options are now supported:
Of the following month
Of the current month
Day(s) after the invoice month
Customise invoice due date through edit Customer
- The 3D Room Planner has been upgraded:
The kicker products have improved snapping logic. They now snap side-to-side and back-to-back when placed under cabinets. Overlaps trigger a red indicator, and items inside kickers retain their snapping and movement capabilities, while frames no longer snap beneath products without a bottom.
Bulkhead and kicker now also keep the exact width and depth entered, and the scene dimensions match those inputs for a more reliable design experience.
New Fixes: - Updated the benchtop specifier so that it will automatically apply the next available permissible edge profile when the first choice is unavailable due to restrictions. - Addressed a situation where vinyl materials required a corresponding vinyl door style before the product could be saved. The system now verifies this automatically to ensure consistency. - Edge material fields for kicker framed products are now hidden, and any related validation messages no longer appear when saving, as these products don’t require edge materials.
New Improvements: - We’ve added another set of 3D Product Visualiser templates for below products, compatible with generating previews on products, PDFs and accessible via QR code once generated.
- In 3D Room Planner Pantry products configured without a base now automatically align to the floor, independent of toe kick height.
New Fixes: - Products with vertical or horizontal partitions now enforces minimum position locations to prevent structural and functional issues. - Addressed an issue in the material selector’s edge field where typing could begin with an unintended highlight or duplicate first character; the clear icon (X) now reliably clears the input with a single click and the material field now clears when clicked for typing the material to search.
New Improvements: - We've added another round of 3D Product Visualiser templates for below products, compatible with generating previews on products, PDFs and accessible via QR code once generated.
Upper Lift Up Systems - Aventos HS, Aventos HL, Aventos HS and HL Top, Free Up, Free Swing
- The 3D Room Planner has received further usability updates which includes:
Refined animations for cabinets with inner drawers, so movements appear smoother and feel more natural, with components no longer overlapping during transitions.
We’ve enhanced cabinet snapping function, cabinets now align more reliably to neighbors without overlapping and are guided to stay within wall boundaries, helping layouts come together faster and with greater accuracy.
Upper wall products now retain their rotated position and original placement after refreshing the page or returning to the planner.
New Fixes: - To prevent integration errors with Xero, Chart of Accounts fields for Customer invoice and bill are now restricted to numerical input only. This ensures consistent mapping and avoids issues caused by text-based entries. - The product inclusions now correctly reference the selected hardware series, resolving incorrect or missing hardware listings.
New Improvements: - We’ve added the flexibility to configure Benchtop material Price Category, making the system more flexible and tailored to your needs. This includes:
You can now modify the Price Category field when editing Benchtop material, allowing greater control over pricing structures.
You can set custom Price Categories unique to your account, with an additional option of 'New' in the dropdown to create a new one.
Editable Price Category field for customising and creating new one
The mass cost editing tool can be used to efficiently apply changes across multiple items by setting brand, finish and selecting a price category.
Bulk update Price Categories using Mass Cost Editing
Admin-set price categories still remain selectable and provide a default baseline across the platform.
- We’ve improved the login experience to ensure a smooth redirection to the page intended to visit. Previously, users accessing deep links via email or visiting pages like job report page as Manufacturer, using 3D Room Planner as Customer were redirected to the login page and had to manually search for the content again after logging in. With this update -
The original URL is now preserved and passed to the login page, allowing users to return directly to their intended destination after authentication.
If the user does not have access to the requested page, they will be redirected to their dashboard instead.
Standard login flows, such as visiting the login page or homepage directly, will continue to redirect users to their dashboard after login.
- A series of enhancements has been implemented to strengthen performance of the 3D Room Planner.
We’ve ensured when a product has a long name, the header in the product editor no longer overlaps the tabs, so navigation stays clear.
A product's elevation from the floor is now consistent and renders correctly regardless of floor distance; very low values no longer affect its appearance.
When using Reposition from floating toolbar, selecting another product will now close the Reposition function on the previously selected item.
We've added support for pressing the Enter key in the “Distance from the Wall” measurement field to apply the change.
We’ve improved cabinet alignment behaviours so bulkhead components now snap cleanly to the top of upper cabinets, and base cabinets align correctly with the blind panel of return cabinets.
New Fixes: - The 3D Room Planner has been leveled up with more refinements:
Updated placement of open products to better snap to walls.
Resolved a visual glitch where changes applied to the exterior colour of Base Bin with inner drawer products were sometimes not correctly reflecting on the door.
Products added with quantity greater than one, when re-edited retains the saved colour and does not revert to previous. This previous visual glitch was rectified through page refresh.
Corrected a bug where L‑shaped products would be dropped into the room at an elevation causing it to be below floor height.
- We've implemented a further round of validations for material size restrictions when products are force updated via the Change Room Settings function, ensuring that appropriate validation messages are displayed where a product can't be updated if it is too big or too small for the selected material.
